Before 2000, we used to make sound systems with turntables, PA and with the inescapable generator.
Free, in the field, at the mountain, free to play it loud, free in the mix and at the mic.
DJ, selectors, toasters, all like preachers acting as Masters of the Ceremony... yes in SOUND WE TRUST!
With the growing of computers technologies appeared new possibilities and without any classical music background it went through amazing experimentations which raise attention to Sounds and environmental noises: not only Music.
It did confirmed music is a sub part of the audio field range, even today this is an open reflection and exciting studies.
